From manufacturing small voltage stabilizers
in 1982 (which was then a dire need in the state of West Bengal
for insufficient power generation) to Large Online UPS units today,
had been the achievement of the shop floor team of EPOCH.
The team is committed to Future Technology Transfer and devoted
to designing apparatus that encompasses future need in the industry

has ultimately rewarded EPOCH with

similar professions could have from the eastern region.
Man management and work environment are key sectors EPOCH has been
very much concerned with. While the activities are decentralized,
each department is connected with other through LAN environment.
Process Testing, Design & Development, Product Testing are done
under computerized controlled environment. Online test reports are
shared by the D&D and Production team through computer networking.
EPOCH has a separate PCB department to act as part of production
and servicing. PCB's are stuffed with inspected components and soldered
in automatically controlled DIP SOLDERING MACHINE, which contributes
directly to the statistical process control. At every stage of PCB
processing, Quality Control techniques are implemented.
SMT (Surface Mounted Technology) technology has been adopted
for PCB's and the same being introduced for the Line Interactive
UPS. For continuous improvement in quality, PCB Department has feed
back system that receives information about the type of recurring
faults, hence a design modification may be made in consultation
with the D&D department. |
